With intermittent showers threatening to rain on their parade, a quick decision to relocate to the Cathedral proved quite wise as the children and youth showcased their talents in a play by Noleen Azille. The play served to highlight how humanity has become worryingly blind to the “real star” of Christmas…Christ himself! The event also served as an outreach activity to collect non-perishable items which will be distributed as Christmas hampers to select families in the community. From all reports, the response was overwhelming and as a result, the Christmas cheer will be felt in several homes this year. The event was a collaboration between the Pontifical Mission Societies, the Catechetical Ministry, and the Youth to Youth (YTY) Ministry.
