Like many islands of the Caribbean, Virgin Gorda was not spared the ravages of Hurricane Irma which made landfall as a category 5 storm on September 6, 2017. The church was completely destroyed, but the faith of the people remained strong. Today, through the generosity of many, we are building back stronger on the original site.
