Protecting God's Children

Diocesan policies and procedures currently in place seek to protect, enhance, and, where necessary, restore the trust between agents of the church and the children and adolescents entrusted to our care. Therefore, in light of the agreed charter for protection endorsed by the Antilles Episcopal Conference, the Diocese of St. John’s-Basseterre wishes to encourage any victim of sexual abuse by a member of the Catholic Clergy to come forward and begin the healing process. When an allegation is found to be credible, counseling will be offered, so that the healing process can begin in accordance with our present diocesan policy. We encourage any victim to contact Dr. Janelle Williams, Diocesan Contact Person at dsjbprotects@gmail.com.
